Every Wednesday, at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m., the Young Manufacturing Association (YMA) will host virtual info sessions for young individuals to learn about various job placement services and training programs in business, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, technology, and more.
The Young Manufacturing Association aim is to serve individuals who pursue a career or currently work in manufacturing.
Currently, the Young Manufacturing Association is recruiting 16–24-year olds interested in business, engineering, art, entrepreneurship, technology, manufacturing, working with their hands, or those unsure of their future.
Young adults are encouraged to apply for the free training to receive:
- 12-Week paid technical and professional trainings
- Nationally-recognized Manufacturing Certification
- Work experience, paid internships, and $100 weekly stipends
- Job placement, peer and life skill support
