Learning Edge Tutoring Program is excited to announce a new location for tutoring on Tuesday evenings. It is now taking place at the Field School, 535 N Parkside Ave., Chicago, IL 60644.
The Field School is near Central and Lake, within half of a mile from the tutoring program’s previous Tuesday tutoring location, at Circle Urban Ministries.
The building has been recently renovated and looks great, according to Jeremy Mann and Mike Matta of the Field School, who say they are enthusiastic about partnering with Learning Edge to move Tuesday tutoring to their school in Austin.
This location has a parking lot with access to the door, where our staff is situated to sign in students and tutors as they enter the building. Inside, the Learning Edge library is stocked with books, educational games, and other learning materials transferred from the previous location.
Learning Edge Tutoring will be stationed at the Field School through mid-May. The first Tuesday session at the Field School was on September 27.
In addition to Tuesdays, Learning Edge Tutoring continues to take place on Mondays at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church and on Thursdays at First United Church in Oak Park.
