Ever wonder what books are available in a Learning Edge tutoring library? It’s easy to check out the book database, available on the Internet. The entire lists of of books available at each tutoring site is located online at Libib.com. To access the list, click here. You can search for a specific title, author, or subject in the search field, too.
Let’s say you were looking for a Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling. You could enter either “Harry Potter” or “J.K. Rowling” in the search field, and those books would pop up, showing you that three Harry Potter titles are available. Some related titles also will be added to the search results.
Or you might be looking for a book about Abraham Lincoln. Enter “Lincoln” in the search field, and your search results will give you four titles about Lincoln, plus related material. Maybe your student is in high school and thinking about college. Enter “college” in the search field, and you’ll see what books are in the library to help you in your search.
Books are sorted by color coded stickers and placed into sections by grade level. K-3 books have an orange label, 4-7 have a yellow label, and 8-12 have a green label.
